Office hours sign-up sheet
Students are more likely to come to office hours when booking takes ten seconds. Make a sheet with your free times, share the link, and students pick a slot.
No account needed for you or your guests.
How it works
- Start from the template. The slots are already filled in. Change names, dates and spots to fit your plans.
- Share one link. Send it by WhatsApp, email or text. People open it on any phone or computer.
- Watch it fill up. Everyone picks a slot and types their name. Full slots close automatically, and a waitlist catches anyone who missed out.
Setting up appointment slots
The template creates 15-minute slots with one spot each. Change the date, length and times to match your schedule, or give a slot more spots for group sessions.
Ask students to write their question in the note field. You can prepare, and the meeting goes faster.
Tutoring, advising and interviews
The same setup works for tutoring sessions, thesis advising, lab slots, interviews and coaching. One link per week keeps it simple.
Switch off name visibility so students only see which times are free.
Tips
- Post the link on your course page or in the class chat.
- Add your room or video call link in the description.
- Copy the sheet each week for recurring office hours.
- Leave a short break after every few slots.
- Students can add their slot to their calendar with one tap.
