Carpool sign-up sheet
Sharing the school run or the drive to practice saves everyone time, as long as it's clear who drives when. Make a carpool sheet, share it with the other parents, and let them pick their days.
No account needed for you or your guests.
How it works
- Start from the template. The slots are already filled in. Change names, dates and spots to fit your plans.
- Share one link. Send it by WhatsApp, email or text. People open it on any phone or computer.
- Watch it fill up. Everyone picks a slot and types their name. Full slots close automatically, and a waitlist catches anyone who missed out.
How to set up a carpool schedule
The template creates a morning drop-off and an afternoon pick-up for each school day of the coming week, with one driver each. Change the times and add more weeks as needed.
For sports, make one slot per game or practice, with the time and the address of the field in the note.
Keeping it fair
When everyone can see who drives when, it's easy to spot who has done a lot and who hasn't yet. Parents can swap by removing their sign-up so someone else can take the slot.
If a car only has room for a few kids, mention the number of seats in the description so parents know how many drivers are needed.
Tips
- Add the pick-up spot and times to the description.
- Ask drivers to note how many seats they have in the note field.
- Use "Copy this sheet" every week or month to start a new schedule.
- Share the link in the parents' group chat and pin it.
- Drivers can add their day to their calendar with one tap.

Create your sheetQuestions
Can two parents drive on the same day?
Yes. Give that slot two spots, or add a separate slot for each car.
What if a driver can't make it?
They remove their sign-up, and the slot opens again for someone else.
Do parents need an app?
No. The sheet opens in any browser, on any phone.
